FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the solution last?

Tile injection with our polymer/cement mixture is a permanent fix to the floor tiles you have that have become "delaminated" from the concrete underneath.

How long before I can walk on my tiles again?

This depends on the condition of your tiles before we start the job. Some tiles have very little deterioration so the liquid that we pump underneath stays under there without escaping everywhere. When the tiles are like this the customer can walk on the tiles the very next morning.

If the loose floor tiles have been like that for some time, they often have many fine cracks through the grout joints and sections of grout missing. A floor in becomes quite messy for us as when we are pushing liquid underneath the tiles it easily finds it's way out of all the holes and cracks in the grout Under these circumstances we recommend to stay off the floor for a full 24 hours.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes we guarantee the tiles that we adhere back to the slab for as long as a new job, 6.5 years.

How much pressure do you use with that machine?

Our machine is run at 30 psi however we are only using the pressure to disperse the glue from the container not to force the glue under the tiles as this would result in lifting the floor.

Can you reuse the old old tiles which have been lifted?

Yes we can. When we attend a job that has tiles "tenting" where a section has lifted up off the floor, we carefully try to remove these tiles without breaking them as specially if there are no replacements to match. However, there are often stress cracks through the tiles from the pressure that was exerted which cannot be seen until we try to move then and they fall apart at the slightest touch.
